On 3 March 2022, ANACOM approved a draft decision to be notified to the European Commission, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) and the national regulatory authorities of the other Member States of the European Union, on the pric-es of the circuits connecting Mainland Portugal and the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira (CAM circuits) and of the prices of the circuits connecting the different islands of the Azores (inter-island circuits) using submarine cables owned by MEO - Serviços de Co-municação e Multimédia (MEO). This decision is taken in the context of the Leased Lines Reference Offer (LLRO) and the Reference Ethernet Leased Lines Offer (RELLO).
Following the analysis carried out and subsequent to the measures determined following analysis of the market for high quality wholesale access at a fixed location (access and trunk segments), ANACOM determined:
- to maintain the prices of traditional circuits, within the framework of MEO's LLRO regulated offer, and the (maximum) prices of inter-island circuits, within the scope of MEO's regulated LLRO offer;
- that the monthly prices per unsecured Ethernet CAM section/circuit, within the scope of LLRO, shall not, as from 10 December 2021, exceed the maximum prices defined in the following table:
