URSI Portugal late afternoon talks: focus on radio science


The Portuguese Committee of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI)https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?categoryId=253943 will promote conversations with several guests on radio science topics, on a regular basis. This forum, which will be held in a digital format, will present innovative projects and concepts, research topics and practical applications of the technology.

The first session takes place on 20 April 2022, starting at 18h00, on “Circuit-level design of battery-less sensor nodes for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)”.

The session, led by Prof. Nuno Borges de Carvalho http://www.av.it.pt/nbcarvalho/, Chairman of the URSI Commission A (Electromagnetic metrology: electromagnetic measurements and standards), will have as guest Prof. Alessandra Costanzo https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alessandra_Costanzo, professor at the University of Bologna, to discuss wireless power transmission, with applications in the field of industry.
