By decision dated 6 April 2022, ANACOM approved the final decision regarding the proposal presented by MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia (MEO) to remedy the lack of coverage of the land-based digital terrestrial television (DTT) service, in the town of Baiao, Sao Marcos da Serra, municipality of Silves, in compliance with ANACOM’s decision of 9 April 2020https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1523124, which consists in the installation of a new transmitter in Foia, to be broadcast on channel 28.
Approval was given also to the report of the prior hearing and public consultation to which the respective draft decisionhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1714581, approved on 22 December 2021, was submitted, procedures under which the contributions of MEO and the Regulatory Authority for the Media (ERC) were received within the deadline.
