Approval of the agreement for the distribution of civil parishes with low population density whose coverage was determined in the scope of the renewal of RUF in the 900-1800 MHz bands

On 13 July 2022, ANACOM approved the agreement signed between MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia and Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais, regarding the distribution of the 100 civil parishes that each of the companies is required to cover in order to comply with the additional coverage obligations imposed under the terms of the decision of 8 July 2021https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1681822, which approved the renewal of the rights of use for frequencies in the 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands allocated to the two companies for terrestrial electronic communications services.
