It amends Laws nos. 41/2004 https://dre.pt/dre/detalhe/lei/41-2004-480710 of 18 August and 99/2009 https://dre.pt/dre/detalhe/lei/99-2009-489497 of 4 September, as well as Decree-Laws nos. 151-A/2000 https://dre.pt/dre/detalhe/decreto-lei/151-a-2000-514399 of 20 July and 24/2014 https://dre.pt/dre/detalhe/decreto-lei/24-2014-572450 of 14 February. It also revokes Law no. 5/2004https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975162 of 10 February and Administrative Rule no. 791/98https://dre.pt/dre/detalhe/portaria/791-1998-241657 of 22 September.
This law enters into force within 90 days.
Nevertheless, article 59, paragraphs 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of article 62, article 65, article 177, point q) of paragraph 3 of article 178, article 179, article 180, article 181, article 182 and article 183 of Lei das Comunicações Eletrónicas (Electronic Communications Law), approved in annex to this law, enter into force the day following its publication.
