ANACOM opinion on the Fastfiber/Fibroglobal merger operation

By decision of 2 August 2022, ANACOM approved an opinion on the concentration operation entailing the acquisition of exclusive control over Fibroglobal – Comunicações Eletrónicas by Fastfiber – Infraestruturas de Comunicações. This decision  follows a request addressed to ANACOM by Autoridade da Concorrência (Competition Authority) under the terms of paragraph 1 of article 55 of Law no. 19/2012 of 8 May https://dre.pt/web/guest/legislacao-consolidada/-/lc/115346788/201910031755/indice  (Competition Law, in its current wording).
