Mission: To ensure ANACOM’s powers as Space Authority (AE), pursuant to Decree-Law No 16/2019 of 22 January, with regard to regulating, supervising and overseeing space activities, without prejudice to the oversight activities carried out by other bodies within the scope of their respective powers and duties.
In addition to this framework and that which stems from the Regulation on Space Activities (Regulation No 697/2019, of 5 September), UM.Espaço aims to add value and create knowledge in all areas of space activity, both at the level of the main EU strategies in the area of space and at the level of the main international space agencies.
