Approval of the Regulation on the designation of the ''49'' range of the National Numbering Plan

By decision of 26 April 2023, ANACOM approved the Regulation on the designation of the ‘49’ range of the National Numbering Plan (NNP) for the provision of the transmission service used for the provision of machine-to-machine (M2M) services and the mobile Internet access service, amending Regulations No 58/2005https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=975391, of 18 August, and No 1028/2021https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1718241, of 29 December.

On the same day, the report on the public consultation on the draft regulationhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1737150 adopted on 27 December 2022 was approved, following contributions received within the deadline from: Inmarsat Global Limited; MEO - Serviços de Comunicações e Multimédia; NOS, SGPS (on behalf of its subsidiaries NOS Comunicações, NOS Wholesale, NOS Açores Comunicações and NOS Madeira Comunicações); Sumamovil Portugal and Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais.

It was also decided to publish the Regulation in Series II of the Official Gazette.
