Public consultation on the EU priorities in the WRC-07

A public consultation is opened until the 21st of May promoted by the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) on the priorities and objectives to be pursued by the European Union at the next World Radiocommunications Conference, to be held in 2007 (WRC-07) under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

This consultation takes place following a request made by the European Commission to the RSPG for them to submit an Opinion on the most important aspects to be taken into account in the process of preparation and negotiation of the WRC-07 within the framework of the implementation of the communitarian  policies, whereby reflection at political level about the EU interests within this scope is ensured and taking into account the publication of a Communication to the European Parliament and the Council on this matter.

Comments should be sent, exclusively through e-mail, to infso-rspg@cec.eu.intmailto:infso-rspg@cec.eu.int, to the RSPG Secretariat.

The Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) was set up by the European Commission in 2003 to study issues related to the introduction of the secondary commerce in the use rights of the Member-states radio spectrum.
