Within the scope of the celebration of the World Telecommunication Day, which will take place next 17 May, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) launched a survey on the importance of the interconnection development objectives and the access to the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), set out in the Action Plan approved during the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), held in December 2003.
This survey is available in the ITU site for consultation and participation until next 10 May and the results shall be disclosed on 17 May.
