The deadline for the public consultation promoted by the Radio Spectrum Policy Group on the European Union (EU) priorities and objectives at the next World Radiocommunications Conference to be held in 2007 (WRC-07), under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), was extended till 22 October.
This public consultation follows the request put forward by the European Commission to the RSPG for the presentation of an Opinion on the most important aspects to be taken into account in the preparation and negotiation of the WRC-07 within the framework of the implementation of the community policies, ensuring reflection at political level on the EU interests on this scope and with the aimof sending a Communication to the European Parliament and the Council on this subject.
