Mission: To provide supervision and regulation of the sector, and assistance to the Government, in the area of communications security, particularly in matters of security and emergencies, civil emergency planning and cooperation with civil protection, security and integrity of electronic communications networks and services, protection of personal data and privacy in the electronic communications sector and access to emergency services; also ensuring the promotion of technical standardisation and the management and availability of the system providing information on infrastructure suitable for carrying networks; also advises the Board of Directors as regards the management of ANACOM's internal security.
