Announcement
The Chairman of the Board of Instituto das Comunicações de Portugal hereby announces the commencement of a consultation period to obtain declarations of interest regarding Fixed Wireless Access.
The objective of this consultation is to identify the number and type of companies interested in integrating this specific system segment in their networks. This information will enable ICP to establish a solid basis for the future license assignment policy, including evaluation of possible extension bands, opening of new bands and the access regime to system licenses.
The deadline for submitting declarations of interest is April 9, 1999.
This consultation is organised by Instituto das Comunicações de Portugal, with head-office in Avenida José Malhoa, no. 12, 1070 Lisbon. The terms of the consultation are specified in the Consultation Document, available on any working day, between 9.00 and 16.00, in ICP's Public Attendance office, as well as via ICP's site: www.icp.pt.
