On the 15th of February 2002, as a joint action between the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) and the Instituto da Comunicação Social (ICS) in the framework of the "Convergence and Regulation Iniciative" , the public consultation on Convergence and Regulation was launched, complying with the Ministerial Order nº 863/2002 dated June 26th of the Ministers of the Presidency and Social Equipment .
Contributions must have an explicit reference to the "Convergence and Regulation Iniciative" and shall be received by the ANACOM or the ICS until the 15th of April 2002, preferably by email. They may be sent to either of the following addresses:

Upon closure of this public consultation on the 15th of April 2002, contributions shall be made available on the ANACOM and the ICS (www.ics.pt) web sites. Possible confidential data contained in those contributions should thus be clearly identified when they are presented.
The conclusions of this consultation will be made public.
