Brussels hosted on 3 July a European Commission (EC) workshop to present the final version of the postal studies conducted by outside consultants: one, on universal service?s impact on full achievement of the internal postal market in 2009, carried out by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), and the other on main postal sector developments (2004-2006), carried out by WIK Consult.
Note that among the various conclusions both studies indicate that the 1 January 2009 date is possible for total liberalisation of the postal market. The studies may be consulted in the respective area of the ANACOM website .
