''PT Free Noites'' Tariff Plan

By determination of 12 October 2006, it has been ruled that PT Comunicações (PTC) shall, with immediate effect, suspend its tariff plan offer ''PT Free Noites''. No prior hearing of interested parties took place, under the provisions of point a) of paragraph 1 of article 103 of the Code of Administrative Procedure.

This suspension will remain in effect until two conditions have been cumulatively met: that ANACOM gives approval by determination, confirming the compliance by the companies of Grupo PT with the conditions to which the provision by said companies of offers combining traffic and the network line in single price is subject, as set out by the corresponding determination of 14 December 2005; and that ANACOM approves the proposed residential fixed-line telephone tariff within the scope of the Universal Service, as presented by PTC on 28 August 2006, such proposal being given by decision following the draft decision of 28 September 2006.
