Conclusion of the negotiations of interconnection agreements to be celebrated by operators with SMP

It was decided on the 12th of May 2000 that as operators with significant market power (SMP), according to the Decree Law no. 415/98 dated December 31st, Portugal Telecom, TMN and Telecel must:

a. Conclude interconnection agreement negotiations with the interested entities within a period of 30 days in compliance with that laid down in paragraph c) of article 16 of the above-mentioned Decree Law;

b. Submit a copy of all interconnection agreements, including discounts and other special conditions offered during part or the whole of the year 2000 to the ICP within a period of 10 days, in compliance with that laid down in no. 1 of the document "General and Prior Conditions to the Negotiation of Interconnection Agreements" and with paragraph c) of article 22 of Decree-Law no. 415/98 dated December 31st.
