Interconnection prices to be included in RIO 2003

By determination of November 2002, considering, up till now, that there was not any market evolution that may justify the revision of the determination of February 7, 2002 as far as the possible integration of RIAO in RIO is concerned, it was decided to ask PT Comunicações, S.A., in its capacity as entity with significant market power in relevant markets for purposes of specific obligations contained in article 9 of Decree-Law no. 415/98 of December 31, to submit, pursuant to subsection c) of paragraph number 1 of said provision, within 15 days, a proposal, duly grounded, with interconnection prices for 2003, taking into account, namely, the expected cost evolution based, among others, on efficiency criteria.
