Imposition of obligations of narrowband retail markets
By determination of 14 December 2004, the obligations to be imposed on the area of narrowband retail markets, to the undertakings of the PT Group, were approved, such undertakings having been identified as being provided with significant market power (SMP) in each of the markets under consideration: narrowband access to the public telephone network at a fixed location for residential customers; narrowband access to the public telephone network at a fixed location for non-residential customers; publicly available local and/or national telephone services provided at a fixed location for residential customers; publicly available local and/or national telephone services provided at a fixed location for non-residential customers; publicly available international telephone services provided at a fixed location for residential customers; publicly available international telephone services provided at a fixed location for non-residential customers; publicly available telephone services intended for non-geographical numbers at a fixed location.
The measures now adopted shall be duly notified, pursuant to the applicable law, to the European Commission and to the national regulatory authorities (NRA) of the remaining Member States.
The respective consultation report has also been approved, having been launched by ANACOM on 26 July 2004, following the determination of 15 July.
