Statistical information to be supplied by fixed telephone service (FTS) providers - Proposal of new indicators

By deliberation of March 28, 2002, was approved a proposal concerning the new indicators to be submitted to ANACOM by FTS providers on a quarterly basis, in addition to the specific pre-selection indicators identified by the draft decision approved on October 31, 2001, and in light of the fact that the basic set of information adopted for an initial phase, by decision of March 9, 2000 has so far proved to be insufficient in order to monitor the activity in question.

The elements specified by the present draft decision must be sent to ANACOM until the 20th day after the end of each quarter, including respective monthly details. For each of the indicators defined and respective disaggregation a table must be completed every quarter, containing respective monthly, quarterly and "Full Year" amounts (the latter corresponding to the total amount of each indicator in the period between the start of the year and the end of the quarter in question).

PT Comunicações (PTC), as concessionaire of the public telecommunications service must continue to submit to ANACOM the additional information to which it is currently obliged, under the terms of the Concession Contract.

This proposal was submitted to the interested parties for comments within a maximum of 10 days.
