Suspension of Leased Line Offer to HLC

By deliberation of the 14th of February 2002, the probable ANACOM decision which considers the existence of documentary proof of serious and reiterated non-fulfilment of contractual obligations by HLC, decision which was simultaneously transmitted to HLC and, as such, the suppositions necessary for the granting of the PT Comunicações, S.A. application for authorisation to suspend the leased line service had been met. This request for suspension was based on the non-compliance with the deadlines for payments due under the terms of the respective contract.

HLC has 10 days from the date of notification of the probable meaning of the ANACOM decision to contest the same.

Simultaneously, in expectation of the possible suspension or extinction of the services provided, HLC was reminded of the obligation to take the necessary measures to protect the interests of the respective clients under the terms of the legislation applicable (Decree Law nº 290-B/99, of July 30th, Decree Law nº 474/99, of November 8th and Law nº 23/96, of July 26th).
