Price conditions apply to outgoing international traffic
Through a deliberation of February 2, 2001, after having received and analysed the relevant information supplied by PT Comunicações concerning outgoing international traffic, ICP decided that:
a) There is no evidence to suggest incompatibility between the prices specified in the RIO 2001 for outgoing international traffic terminated in mobile networks and the principle of cost orientation, as a result of which, and without prejudice to the need for possible alterations as a result of market evolution, the prices presented by PT Comunicações for this market segment are considered to be valid in the framework of contractual relationships to be established;
b) The conditions applying to international traffic with fixed or undifferentiated termination must be encompassed within the scope of the contractual relationships established between the notified operator and interested parties, without prejudice to eventual measures resulting from the assessment of the results arising from the investigation already decided by ICP in this regard.
