Evaluation of net costs incurred through the provision of universal service

By determination of 05 December 2007, approval was given to the draft decision on the evaluation of net costs incurred through the provision of universal service, which was made subsequent to the presentation by PT Comunicações (PTC) on 12 October of the estimated net costs of universal service (NCUS) in respect of 2003 and a revision of the estimates in respect of 2001 and 2002, and the communication of PTC of 27 July 2007.

Under the terms of the Code of Administrative Procedure, the first two points of this determination were submitted to a prior hearing of PTC.
