On 30 April, AirPlus Television Portugal complied with the formality determined by the Committee acting in the tender for the allocation of frequency usage rights on a national and part national basis for the digital terrestrial television broadcasting service and the licensing of a distribution operator (Muxes B to F), on the occasion of the public act of opening the corresponding applications to tender, which took place on 24 April.
Having confirmed verification of the condition on which admission of this tenderer depended, the Committee, has proposed to the Board of Directors of ANACOM and the Regulatory Board of the ERC - Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (Regulatory Authority for the Media) that AirPlus be formally admitted to the tender, as it had previously proposed the formal admittance of PT Comunicações.
The ERC has issued a favourable opinion of this proposal of the Committee, while the Board of Directors of ANACOM subsequently determined to admit the applications of AirPlus and PT Comunicações to the public tender for Muxes B to F.
