Formal adaptation of RADIOMOVEL's license to provide SMRP

By determination of 16 April 2008, ANACOM approved a final decision on the formal adaptation of the license held by RADIOMÓVEL - Telecomunicações, S.A. for the provision of the mobile service with shared resources (SMRP), pursuant to Law no. 5/2004, of 10 February.

The following decisions were taken:

• To approve the report on the interested party’s prior hearing concerning the respective draft decision, in accordance with the terms and based on grounds specified therein;
  
  
• To declare that obligations imposed on RADIOMÓVEL - Telecomunicações, S.A, for the provision of SMRP under license no. ICP-ANACOM - 012/SMRP are compatible with the new regulatory framework transposed by Law no. 5/2004, of 10 February, namely the general conditions established therein for the pursue of the activity and specific conditions associated to the allocation of rights of use for frequencies and numbers, described respectively in paragraph 1 of article 27, paragraph 1 of article 32 and paragraph 1 of article 34, all of Law no. 5/2004, of 10 February; and
  
  
• To specify general conditions of SMRP provision and of the right of use for frequencies and for numbers of the National Numbering Plan, under the adapted license.
