A new area has been made developed on emergency communications with information about the varied remit of ANACOM and current European Union and national legislation, studies and reports and links of interest.
In view of the primary objective associated with the existence of emergency communications - the safeguarding of human life - ANACOM has decided to bring together and systematise the disparate information encompassed by its remit. This remit involves, in particular, providing technical support to agencies and departments engaged in the process of establishing and managing the integrated network of emergency communications, as well as collaborating in the definition of civil emergency planning policy of the communications sector.
