Traffic routing with international origin to ported numbers

By determination of 29 August 2002, following an Optimus and a TMN intervention request related to the conditions applicable to traffic routing with international origin to Optimus telephone numbers ported to TMN, it was decided as follows:

(1) All providers are committed, in accordance with the number portability specification, to cooperate with each other so as to facilitate the number portability and to ensure quality of the same, namely through interconnection agreements and compliance with the regulatory framework in force, not refusing to route international traffic to numbering resources allocated to them, ported to another provider;

(2) In traffic routing with international origin to ported numbers the recipient operator is not obliged, except as otherwise agreed, to pay for possible additional transmission costs related to calls that are addressed to it.
