On 23 July 2008, ANACOM approved and submitted to the Office of the SEAOPC (Deputy State Secretary for Public Works and Communications) the final report with the summary of positions received in the scope of the consultation procedure on the designation of the universal service provider(s), thus fulfilling the joint order of the Minister of State and for Finance and of the Minister for Public Works, Transport and Communications, of 28 January 2008.
On 15 September 2008, another joint order of the Minister of State and for Finance and of the Minister for Public Works, Transport and Communications determined the publication of the referred Report by ANACOM.
