The operators Optimus, Vodafone and Oniway must conclude the negotiation of interconnection agreements between them within a maximum deadline of 5 working days, as decided by Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM).
At the end of this period, the conditions and prices to be practiced for all types of telephone traffic in interconnection between those operators will have to be defined.
Once the agreements are concluded, the operators will have to immediately send a full copy of those documents to ANACOM.
This determination is the result of an intervention request put forward by Oniway that informed the regulator of the impossibility to conclude the interconnection agreements with Optimus and Vodafone and of the subsequent need for ANACOM to intervene.
This determination comes after former decisions of the regulator related to the agreement established between Oniway and TMN and to the fixation of interconnection prices to be practiced this year in mobile-mobile traffic. It also considers the objectives of promotion of competition and public interest.
