The European Commission (EC) launched an online public consultation on 7 November entitled 'Towards a strengthened network and information security in Europe'. The aim of the consultation is to compile information on the challenges of network and information security, priorities and the means needed to achieve a strengthened policy of network and information security.
The results of this public consultation will make a contribution towards the timely presentation by the EC of appropriate proposals for future network and information security policy, which will encompass the definition of the future European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA).
