By determination of 4 December 2008, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the statistical indicators to be submitted every quarter to this Authority by postal service providers, which has been submitted to a prior hearing of interested parties, for a 25-working-day time limit.
It was also decided on this date to repeal the set of indicators that applied to postal services in a competitive market, as from the moment the new indicators start to be reported by providers.
This decision is related to new demands and obligations on international collection of information, as well as to the need to integrate and compare the information of postal services provided in a competitive market with information of reserved services.
