It was announced, as part of the annual Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) Council Europe Conference, underway in Copenhagen, that the organisation will hold its next conference in Lisbon in February 2010, with ANACOM providing sponsorship.
The Chairman of ANACOM, José Amado da Silva, spoke today, 12 February, in the parallel session ''Regulation on Europe. Quo Vadis?'', making a presentation on ''The Fibre Challenge: Ensuring A Level Playing Field''.
The FTTH Council Europe is an organisation that promotes the availability of fibre optic broadband access networks, providing a flow of new services which are key to the lives of consumers and businesses and which give added value for society as a whole.
