The first General Assembly of the Association of Communications and Telecommunications Regulators of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (ARCT-CPLP) is being held on 19 and 20 February in Maputo, Mozambique.
The meeting, which will bring together the national communications regulatory authorities (NRAs) from the community of Portuguese-speaking countries, will see elections to the Association's overseeing bodies and approval of the 2009 business plan.
The objective of ARCT-CPLP is to make it possible for the countries involved to make contacts and benefit from mutual experience and learning in the context of communication sector regulation.
