Elections to the governing bodies of ARCT-CPLP


During the first General-Assembly of the Association of Communications and Telecommunications Regulators of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (ARCT-CPLP), elections were held yesterday, 19 February, to the posts of the respective governing bodies, with David Gomes (Chairman of the Cape Verde regulator, ANAC) elected to the post of Chair, and Ronaldo Sardenberg (of ANATEL, the Brazilian Regulator) elected to the post of vice-chair. Meanwhile the secretariat will be provided by ANACOM's Filipe Batista.

In the proceedings of today, which continued in Maputo, Mozambique, the Assembly granted approval to the 2009 activities plan, the Association logo and the brandname ARCTEL.
