The rules set out in Regulation no 87/2009 enter into force today. This Regulation amends Regulation no 58/2005, published on 18 August (Portability Regulation). However the provisions of article 4, paragraph 2, article 8, paragraph 9, article 11, paragraphs 4, 5 and 6, article 12, paragraphs 5, 7 and 10, article 16, paragraphs 1 and 3, article 17, paragraph 3 and article 25A, paragraph 4 of the cited Regulation are excepted.
In the light of the new portability regime, ANACOM has revised and updated the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on Operator Portability. These FAQs are available on this website.
