By determination of 3 June 2009, ANACOM approved the draft technical manuals on ITED (infrastructures for telecommunications in buildings) and ITUR (infrastructures for telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings).
In fact, the need to adapt buildings to new generation networks and to the new legal framework established by Decree-Law no. 123/2009, of 21 May, imposes the amendment of ITED rules and technical specifications of (ITED Manual). On the other hand, the mandatory set up of infrastructures for telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings entails the need for the creation of the corresponding technical rules (ITUR Manual).
Both draft manuals, pursuant to Decree-Law no. 123/2009, of 21 May (article 106), are subject to the general consultation procedure established under article 8 of the Electronic Communications Law. The deadline for reception of comments, which must be sent preferably by email to manual.ited.itur@anacom.ptmailto:manual.ited.itur@anacom.pt, thus expires on 7 July 2009.
Once the consultation procedure has been completed, received replies shall be disclosed in this website. For this reason, interested parties are requested to state clearly the elements deemed to be confidential.
