The URSI Portugal Research Prize, inaugurated by the Portuguese Committee of URSI, is now open to entries. Sponsored by ANACOM, the prize has the objective of encouraging creativity and rigour in Portuguese scientific research work and is to be awarded to the best research work in the area of radio electricity.
The Committee has also launched a call for papers, to promote scientific works and give incentive to the exchange of experience, including between researchers, manufacturers and service providers.
Entries to the prize and the presentation of scientific communications with respect to the call papers may be submitted until 30 September 2009.
The prize will be handed out at the 3rd Congress of the Portuguese Committee of URSI, to be held on 3 and 4 November 2009, where the selected works will also be presented.
