The public act for the opening of proposals, presented in respect of the public tender for the installation, management, operation and maintenance of high-speed electronic communication networks in the Alentejo and Algarve zones of Portugal, took place today 20 August at 10am.
According to the provisions of clause 22.1 of the respective tender schedule, this public act does not entail any qualitative assessment of the presented proposals and does not involve any decision with respect to admissibility. Instead, the public act only comprises verification by the Selection Board that the proposals have been presented in accordance with the terms stipulated in the schedule of procedure.
Accordingly, the list of tenderers to the present tender is as follows:
1. DSTelecom;
2. Viatel; and
3. Triplenet.
The Tender Selection Board now has a period of eight days to send a copy of the respective act to the accepted tenderers, as well as the non-editable versions of the electronic versions of the remaining proposals.
