By determination of 4 September 2009, ANACOM granted licensing exemption to all aeronautical mobile service stations and radio-determination service stations on board aircrafts and certified by the Instituto Nacional de Aviação Civil - INAC (The National Civil Aviation Authority). Accordingly, it was also decided to amend annex 4 of the National Frequency Allocation Plan (NFAP), governing licensing exemptions.
