The number of people following ANACOM - Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações on Twitter, one of the largest social networking sites on the Internet in terms of the number of users, has grown considerably. The number of followers has risen from 179 in August to 289 at the end of September, an increase of 64%.
ANACOM has been present on Twitter since 2 February 2009, with the aim of increasing the circulation of news published on its website in Portuguese and English.
Making information available in this new way and adapting to new challenges and to the natural evolution of the social networking phenomenon, ANACOM aims to raise awareness of its activity among a wider public and with an image that is more current, modem and innovative.
