Calculation of the cost of capital of PTC - consultation

By determination of 17 November 2009, ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the methodology for calculating the cost of capital of PT Comunicações (PTC) applicable to the three year period of 2009-2011, for submission to a prior hearing of interested parties pursuant to the Code of Administrative Procedure, and to the general consultation procedure set out in article 8 of Law No. 5/2004 of 10 February. Meanwhile the public version of the consultancy report prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) on PTC's cost of capital has been made available. For both procedures a period has been set of 20 working days.

Approval was also given to the notification to be made to the European Commission and the national regulatory authorities of other Member States pursuant to paragraph 1 of article 57 of Law No. 5/2004.
