By determination of 17 November 2009 ANACOM has given approval to the new statement models of project responsibility for infrastructures for telecommunications in housing developments, urban settlements and concentrations of buildings (ITUR) and of ITUR execution responsibility.
With the entry into force of Decree-law No 123/2009 of 21 May (which sets out the legal regime governing the construction, access and installation of electronic communications infrastructure and networks), as amended by Decree-Law No 258/2009 of 25 September, ITUR project managers have, among others, the obligation to issue a statement affirming observance of the applicable technical and regal rules, constituting a statement of project responsibility, and to provide this statement to the developer and to ANACOM.
Meanwhile, ITUR installation technicians have the specific obligation to issue the statement of execution responsibilities, also providing this to ANACOM and to the developer, and to the owner, or to the respective administration in the case of a group of buildings.
ANACOM is charged with giving approval to the corresponding models under the terms of the same Decree-Law.
