Price charged by PTC for the encoding, multiplexing, transport and broadcast of free unrestricted access television channels by digital terrestrial network (DTT) (MUX A)

By determination of 2 May 2014, ANACOM has approved a decision on the price charged by PT Comunicações (PTC) for the encoding, multiplexing, transport and broadcast of free unrestricted access television channels over the digital terrestrial network (DTT) (MUX A), following the request for intervention by Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP) seeking immediate mediation in the determination of pricing charged by PTC for the service.

Approval was also given to the report of the public consultation and prior hearing held on the corresponding draft decision (determination of 14 March 2014). Contributions to these procedures were received from PTC, RTP, TVI - Televisão Independente (TVI) and from Blogue TDT em Portugal.  The comments sent by SIC - Sociedade Independente de Comunicação (SIC) were received subsequent to the stipulated deadline and were not considered in this procedure.
