The ninth meeting of the BEREC Board of Regulators (BoR) and Management Committee (MC) was held last 8-9 December in Bucharest. Highlights included the MC and BoR elections process, the presentation of documents on BoR internal organisation and strategy, and the BEREC working programme for 2012.
Also presented were the report on co-investment in next generation access (NGA) networks, the report on "Wholesale originating access to value added services", transparency guidelines in the net neutrality context and the report on broadband promotion, which was approved for public consultation. The participants also approved BEREC's responses to the European Commission consultations on costing methodologies and non-discrimination.
These meetings were preceded by the Contact Network meeting held last 17-18 November in Fiesole, Italy. The next plenary meeting will be held in Vienna this coming 22-24 February.
