By determination of 1 March 2012, ANACOM has approved the Regulation amending Regulamento da Portabilidade (Portability Regulation - Regulation no. 58/2005 of 18 August, as amended by Regulation no. 87/2009 of 18 February and by Regulation no. 302/2009 of 26 July). The principal amendment inserted refers to the guarantee given to the subscriber that numbers will be fully transferred within a maximum period of one working day, which, only in specific exceptions, may be extended to three working days.
Approval was likewise given to the report on the consultation to which the respective draft decision, as approved by determination of 27 October 2011, was submitted.
This Regulation will be published in 2nd Series of Diário da República (Official Gazette), in accordance with the regulatory procedure set out in ANACOM's statutes, and will enter into force 6 months subsequent to said publication, simultaneously with annex II of the Especificação de Portabilidade (Portability Specification), which it to be revised accordingly.
