Methodology for establishing and reviewing reference speeds associated to coverage obligations in the 800 MHz band - consultation

By determination of 12 December 2013, ANACOM approved a draft decision, on the one hand, on the methodology for establishing and reviewing reference speeds associated to coverage obligations in the 800 MHz band, as well as on the corresponding information obligations, and on the other hand, on the methodology for assessing compliance with coverage obligations and the corresponding information obligations.

This draft decision was submitted to the prior hearing of Vodafone Portugal, TMN and Optimus, and to a public consultation, having been established in both situations a 20-working day time-limit for comments. Comments must thus be received by 17 January 2014, and should be sent preferably by e-mail to the address velc-ref-quartil@anacom.ptmailto:velc-ref-quartil@anacom.pt1. Any indication of confidentiality of the conveyed information must comply, for both procedures, with requirements set out in paragraph 3 of article 108 of  the Electronic Communications Law (Law No. 5/2004 of 10 February, as republished by Law No. 51/2011 of 13 September) and in this Authority's determination of 17 November 2011.

Once the consultation process has been concluded, the contributions received will be made public, whereby interested parties should also submit a non-confidential version of their responses, excluding items considered confidential for the purposes of publication on this website.
