ANACOM's website, which was renewed in 2014, has a responsive design that seeks to provide an experience to satisfy all users and visitors.  The website is designed to be easy to read and navigate, regardless of the type of equipment or connection speed used by its visitors to access the internet (PC, tablets, smartphones, etc.). It is also specially designed to accommodate citizens with special needs.

Reflecting this commitment, ANACOM's website follows international good practice in accessibility and adheres to applicable national legislation, in particular the RNID - Regulamento Nacional de Interoperabilidade Digitalhttps://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1143512 (National Regulation of Digital Interoperability), which is an integral part of Law no. 36/2011 of 21 June. This law stipulates the adoption of open standards in government computer systems and requires intermediate level compliance (level AA) with the Accessibility Guidelines.

ANACOM's website has been designed to ensure accessibility that complies the highest level (AAA level) of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines  (WCAG - version 2) issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Since October 2012, these guidelines have been constituted as an international standard (ISO/IEC 40500: 2012).
