In addition to market and spectrum enforcement actions, ICP-ANACOM also undertakes an important set of monitoring actions in a variety of areas, ranging from information provided by service providers on their websites and analysis of contract clauses, to responses to surveys and the compilation of statistical information. In this manner, ICP-ANACOM gains an understanding as to how providers are complying with the obligations to which they are subject.
In general, monitoring actions are not performed directly or in person, but from a distance.
