The objective of this work is:
- to show the evolution of the prices of priority and non-priority mail services provided by CTT - Correios de Portugal, S.A., between 1989 and 2002;
- to compare the Domestic and International Base Price figures (costs of standard letters weighing up to 20 grams) practised in European Union countries (UE)1.
