The offices of Serbia's Republic Agency for Electronic Communication (RATEL) in Belgrade served as venue last 12-13 April for a meeting of the project team (PT) on Future Numbering Issues of the working group on Numbering and Networks (WG NaN).
This working group currently covers the following work items:
- ECC recommendations for M2M (machine to machine) communications;
- Open/closed dialling plans;
- Nomad VoIP in mobile phones;
- Efficient number use.
The documents being prepared are:
- M2M recommendation;
- Report on numbering for mobile VoIP;
- Report on extraterritorial use of E.164 numbers;
- Report on evolution of mobile network code (MNC) use;
- Report on dialling plans.
Another meeting is planned for late August or early September 2011.
